Butler Inn

My wife and I stayed here for several nights. The price was reasonable and the rooms were CLEAN and quite doable. We couldn't have been happier with what we got for the price. The only slight drawback was that the bathroom was slightly outdated in that the tub wasn't in great condition, but the shower itself was great (good water pressure!) and the beds were super comfy. If you're looking to save some money and stay right near Miami U and right near the heart of Oxford, you can't go wrong here. It's nothing super fancy, but the proprietor of the Butler Inn is friendly and they have complimentary drinks in the hotel office area too. We enjoyed our stay.

This has been the best experience I've ever had with a hotel/motel! We travel between North Carolina and Ohio frequently and by far this is the best. We will be staying here for years to come. Everything was extremely clean. The desk agent was wonderful, so kind and helpful. The location is great and close to many restaurants. I want to reiterate how clean and comfortable the room was. There are not enough stars to give Butler Inn! Absolutely recommend!

I stayed here two nights as I am a student at Miami University and I usually have a 30 minute commute each day. With Halloween and the time change going on, I didn't feel like I was a good idea to be driving back and forth the entire weekend (I have an on-campus job that requires me to commute on the weekends). I have never been so impressed with a motel in my life! First of all, the rooms have hardwood floors, so that eliminates the worry of getting your socks dirty if you're walking around without house shoes/slippers. The door had a deadbolt and a chain, which I appreciated, it made me extra safe, as a college student who was "traveling" alone. I haven't even had that at regular hotels that have a hallway. I am an ambulatory wheelchair user, and I was easily able to pop a wheelie and get my wheelchair into and out of the room, and there was plenty of room for me to use it around the room if I needed to. This was the first hotel that provided makeup remover wipes, so I was very happy about that. They don't have any thing like free breakfast, but I was easily able to pack my own and eat it in the room. There's a microwave and fridge in the room. The only thing that *may* take 1 star off is I couldn't figure out how to use the coffee maker. That was ok as I had packed caffeine tablets just in case. Most hotels have Keurig coffee machines, this one did not, and I didn't want to figure out how to work it and then mess things up, so I just decided to not use it. In the future, guests might appreciate it if the management put in a coffee maker, but otherwise this is a very minor issue. Despite it being a motel, it sits far back from the road, so there was very little road noise, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The parking lot was very well lit at night, which added to the level of safety. Usually for the price per night I paid, you get a lot less and the room is not as nice as this place was! I will have other instances where I have to stay overnight in Oxford and not commute, and I will definitely consider staying here again!

Wow, just wow. Truly an ascendant motel experience. Never in my life have my expectations been so thoroughly exceeded. To anyone visiting Oxford, Ohio, let me be the first to recommend this establishment. From unrivaled customer service to truly lavish and classy rooms, my stay at the Butler Inn was more comparable to the Five Seasons. Thank you to the wonderful staff of the Butler Inn for not only granting us a room at the inn, but a prolonged stay in their hearts.

Not a bad place, but not much in terms of amenities. No breakfast, no ice machine. Comfortable bed, clean blankets, clean room, and clean towels. Can't really ask for much more from a budget hotel room.

I recently stayed here with a large group and I could not be happier with where I chose. The rooms arw clean and spacious, the staff is wonderful, and the location is great. You get what you pay for plus a lot more and I know when I am back in the area I will be staying here again.

This is my second year in a row staying at The Butler Inn, and somehow it was even better than the first. I genuinely can’t put into words how much joy I feel every time I’m here. It’s truly one of my favorite places. The Butler Inn is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway a warm, welcoming, and incredibly well-kept. The rooms are spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, the temperature was perfect, and the space had everything I could ever need and more.

Hi Butler is just on the outskirts of town. I put the location as perfect because there are not many places in Oxford. The family that runs it is terrific The rooms are very clean
